HBO has just released a full trailer fir its highly anticipated upcoming presentation of THE NORMAL HEART, which will air on Sunday, May 25, at 9pm on HBO. The Velocity of Autumn will begin previews Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45 Street) for a limited engagement, following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run at Washington DC's Arena Stage (Edgar Dobie, Executive Producer) in the Fall of 2013. Performances began on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Mr. O'Hare and Stephen Spinella will alternate performances of the play. LIVING FOR TODAY, with musical direction by Nate Patten, and direction by David Alpert, played a one-night-only engagement at the newly renovated Joe's Pub last night, October 17, 2011 at 7:00PM. The fourth annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert showcased Broadway stars in an exciting night of music. This year's concert, titled FIRST NAME BASIS, featured everyone's favorite showtunes, but only those with a first name in the title. Proceeds go to the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund. Youtube star Randy Rainbow made a special appearance in the video below, which features cameos by Stephen Spinella, Allison Case and Max Von Essen. Click below to check it out!

Last night the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact launched the all-star Broadway premiere of '8'. The play, which chronicles the historic trial in the federal legal challenge to California's Proposition 8, was written by AFER Founding Board Member and Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and directed by Tony Award-winning actor and director Joe Mantello. '8,' a new play chronicling the historic trial in the federal legal challenge to California's Proposition 8 will have its World Premiere on Broadway in a one night-only staged reading to benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER). The play is written by AFER Founding Board Member and Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and directed by two-time Tony Award-winning actor and director Joe Mantello. Black, who penned the Academy Award-winning feature film Milk, based '8' on the actual words of the trial transcripts, first-hand observations of the courtroom drama and interviews with the plaintiffs and their families. The reading is now completely sold-out!

On Tuesday, March 2, the company of THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES met the press. Signature Theatre Company's production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, began performances Tuesday, September 14. The first New York revival of Kushner's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play is directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, has been extended a second time through February 20, 2011.
