Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening will run through Sunday, January 24 only at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Spring Awakening is currently in previews and will open Sunday, September 27. A big msuical revival will arrive in just a week, marking the first time since Spring Awakening has played on Broadway since its original 2006 run. Today, BWW is continuing our SHOWTUNE SHUFFLE series by tributing both the new kids and the original cast with 'The Bitch of Living.'

Earlier this week, the company invited the press inside their rehearsal room for a sneak peek of what they've been working on. The multiple Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of Spring Awakening, with book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, is set to receive an innovative, immersive production performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken English. The Pasadena Playhouse, in association with David Shor Productions, presents SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE - THE MUSICAL. Single tickets are also currently on sale. Performances for the world premiere presentation will begin May 24 through June 23, with an official press opening on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. at The Pasadena Playhouse. The performance from the cast of LES MISERABLES began with Hugh Jackman taking the stage to perform the new original song 'Suddenly' from Tom Hooper's adaptation, where he was then joined by Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne - as well as numerous members from the show's various productions - to perform the Act One Finale 'One Day More', while Anne Hathaway will sing a section of 'I Dreamed A Dream'.
