At last night's Academy Award's Red Carpet event, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen arrived in the guise of the lead character of his upcoming film 'The Dictator'. Earlier in the week, an Oscar representative warned the comedian that he would be banned from attending the event if he showed up dressed as the fictional foreign dictator.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen phoned in to the TODAY show this morning, disguised as Admiral General Aladeen, the character of his upcoming film, 'The Dictator', and responded to the Academy Awards' threat to keep him from attending Sunday night's event if he showed up on the red carpet in character.

Theatre fans everywhere are already itching to see Les Misérables brought to the big screen, and though the film isn't due to hit theatres until December 7, rehearsals have already begun for the new movie.
