What happens when you do a Broadway Show for three years? Mitchell Jarvis and Tony LePage have been there and as a result, created a parody of the great prison film: 'The Shawshank Redemption'. Shot from the tight confines of the Helen Hayes Theatre, the entire Rock of Ages cast is represented in the four part series.

After completing 23 episodes of the backstage web-series known as 'Rock of Ages Productions', Mitchell Jarvis has completed the final work in the series, 'A Rockwork Orange'. This dark and zany parody of 5 of Jarvis' favorite films, is shot exclusively at intermissions of actual Broadway performances of 'Rock of Ages'. From their tiny dressing rooms tucked away in the bowls of the Helen Hays Theatre, the entire cast is represented in this tiny epic. Check it out below!

The Alley Theater's production of The Toxic Avenger, starring American Idol and Rock of Ages alum Constantine Maroulis alongside Nancy Opel, began previews on January 13 and officially opened on January 20. With book & lyrics by Joe DiPietro, music & lyrics by David Bryan, based on the film The Toxic Avenger by Lloyd Kaufman, and directed by John Rando, the production will run through Sunday, February 12, 2012. Ever wonder what the rockers of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES do in their free time? Or at least during intermission? Of late, the cast was hard at work on a new web series, The Sardi's Redemption, a parody inspired by the Hollywood Blockbuster, The Shawshank Redemption.

The music that ignited a generation is heating up Broadway in ROCK OF AGES. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn', 'I Wanna Know What Love Is', 'Here I Go Again', 'Don't Stop Believin' and more. Directed by Adam Shankman, the film stars Tom Cruise as 'Stacee Jaxx,' Diego Boneta as 'Drew,' Julianne Hough as 'Sherrie,' Russell Brand as 'Lonny,' Alec Baldwin as 'Dennis,' Mary J. Blige as 'Justice,' Brian Cranston as the Mayor, Malin Ackerman as 'Constance Sack,' Catherine Zeta-Jones as the wife of the Mayor and Paul Giamatti as 'Paul Gill.'
