THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN is coming to theaters on July 3, 2012. The action adventure film is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Meagan Good, Embeth Davidtz, Rhys Ifans, Chris Zylka, Martin Sheen, C. Thomas Howell and Irrfan Khan.

Today in 2005, Spamalot opened at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for 1575 performances. Monty Python's Spamalot is a musical comedy 'lovingly ripped off from' the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways, especially in its parodies of Broadway theatre. Eric Idle, a member of the Monty Python team, wrote the musical's book and lyrics and collaborated with John Du Prez on most of the music. The original 2005 Broadway production, directed by Mike Nichols, won three Tony Awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical of the 2004-2005 season and received 14 Tony Award nominations.

Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, will return to Los Angeles, playing a strictly limited one week engagement February 28 - March 4, 2012 at the Pantages Theatre. Signature Theatre Company's production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, began performances Tuesday, September 14. The first New York revival of Kushner's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play is directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, has been extended a second time through February 20, 2011.
