As BroadwayWorld first revealed this morning, 25 years after Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman opened the show in London, Cameron Mackintosh has announced that he will present Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 1st October at 7.30pm and Sunday 2nd October at 1.30pm and 7.00pm. The Les Miserables 25th Anniversary O2 concert starred Ramin Karmiloo, Samantha Barks, Alfie Boe, Nick Jonas,Norm Lewis, Matt Lucas, Lea Salonga, Jenny Galloway, and Camilla Kerslake.

Cameron Mackintosh's current touring production of Les Miserables will run at London's Barbican Theatre, it's English-language birthplace in 1985, for 22 performances through October 2, 2010. A Queens Theatre staple for nearly 22 years in the West End, this new run will mark the first time in London that the same musical has run simultaneously.

In October this year, the legendary musical 'LES MISERABLES' will celebrate its 25th birthday by making theatrical history with an international first - three different productions in London at the same time. The Original Production at the Queen's Theatre, the New 25th Anniversary Production at the Barbican, London and now, stars in their multitudes will gather for a celebratory concert at The O2 on Sunday 3rd October at 7.00pm, when all three productions and many of the shows original cast will come together to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Produced by Stage Entertainment Spain, Les Miserables will open in Teatro Lope de Vega in Madrid on November 18th 2010, directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell. It will be the second time this classic musical by Boubil and Schönberg hits the city. It first arrived in 1992, produced by José Tamayo, Plácido Domingo and Cameron Mackintosh.
