TV: Travel Back to the 60's with a Sneak Peek of TRIP OF LOVE!

TRIP OF LOVE, the new dance musical spectacle celebrating the biggest hits of the '60s, officially opens on October 18, at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd St). American pop culture is still pulsing with the psychedelic energy of the Sixties, an era of expression and revolution around the world. The music told the story then and it will again this fall as Trip of Love brings the decade to life with 28 of the biggest hits of the '60s, including 'Blowin' In The Wind,' 'Born To Be Wild,' 'California Dreamin',' 'I Saw Her Standing There,' 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin',' 'White Rabbit,' 'You Don't Own Me' and many more.

Emma Hunton is currently starring as 'Elphaba' in the the first North American tour of Wicked, which is currently playing at Albuquerque's Popejoy Hall. Paper Mill Playhouse will present A Chorus Line, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical conceived, choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett, with book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban. The production will be directed and choreographed by Mitzi Hamilton, one of the dancers in Bennett's original taped workshop that inspired the 1975 Musical. John O'Neill will serve as Music Director/Conductor. A Chorus Line started performances last night, October 3. Check out highlights from the show in the video below!

Sponsored by Bank of America, and Clean Air NY, and hosted by Lite fm's on-air personalities, the eleventh annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances concluded yesterday, August 11th.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert began previews last night at the Princess of Wales Theatre. It will have a 12 week pre-Broadway run in Toronto before leaving for Broadway where it opens in March of 2011. Everyone involved will be quick to tell you that the real 'star' of the show is 'Priscilla' herself, and BWW was on hand as Tony Sheldon (Bernadette) introduced 'Priscilla' to the Toronto press. This video features 'Priscilla' showing off her amazing 30,000 LED light and various features.

Bette Midler, whose solo Broadway debut at the Palace Theatre is the stuff of showbiz legend, will return to that landmark venue as a producer of this season's eagerly anticipated, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL. Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The MusicaL began a pre-Broadway engagement yesterday, Tuesday, October 12, at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada, prior to beginning performances at Broadway's Palace Theatre in New York City on February 28, and opening March 20, 2011. Bette Midler said 'A new star on Broadway and her name is PRISCILLA!! So much fun, it's practically illegal!! In fact, it IS illegal in four states!!' Here Bette is after seeing the show in London!
