Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 204th season with an all-new production of Broadway's five-time Tony Award-winning family musical, Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. Directed and choreographed by Marc Robin, this production will feature Philadelphia's very own Jeffrey Coon and Broadway's Jennifer Hope Wills. The cast also includes a live horse that will pull the Wells Fargo Wagon in the first act. THE MUSIC MAN runs now through January 6th on the WST Mainstage. Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes plays its final show on Broadway today, July 8, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, the original limited engagement subscription run opened on April 7, 2011, and was scheduled to run for 19 weeks. It went on to be extended three times through July 8, 2012, and Anything Goes recently celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway. This acclaimed production marks the second longest Broadway run in Roundabout's history, following its beloved revival of Cabaret. The cast's Raymond J. Lee wrote to BroadwayWorld: 'To the most amazing cast and crew a guy could ever ask for....It has been a pleasure sailing with all of you on the SS American.
