The show is directed by John Rando with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Joshua Bergasse.Little Me, Neil Simon's first musical, is the story of the glamorous Belle Poitrine (Rachel York as young Belle, Judy Kaye as older Belle), a self-invented celebrity who has spent her life in pursuit of wealth, culture and social position. Tony Award-winner Christian Borle will play all six of Belle's oddball lovers, who range from an innocent college boy to an octogenarian lecher to the dying king of a tiny European country that doesn't seem to exist. The Public Theater's production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved musical INTO THE WOODS, part of The Public's 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte, will officially open tonight, August 9. BWW has a first look at footage from the highly anticipated production!

The Public Theater is currently presenting the Shakespeare in the Park production of INTO THE WOODS at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel, INTO THE WOODS is running for five weeks through Saturday, August 25, with an official press opening on Thursday, August 9. Since the Tony Award-winning production of HAIR took off across the country last fall, tribe members Josh Lamon (Margaret Mead / Dad) and Allison Guinn (Mother / Buddhadalirama) have been reporting from the road, giving fans a backstage peak at the HAIR tribe's daily life as they traveled the nation. Now, the entire tribe has returned to Broadway for a 'Summer of Love' run at the St. James Theatre (through Sept 10th) and Josh and Allison are giving BroadwayWorld.com the exclusive look backstage on the Great White Way!
