Manhattan Theatre Club's THE WHIPPING MAN, the acclaimed new play by Matthew Lopez, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, recently met the press. This new production stars two-time Emmy Award winner Andre Braugher ('Men of a Certain Age,' 'Homicide'), Andre Holland (Joe Turner's Come and Gone, The Brother/Sister Plays), and Jay Wilkison (upcoming film version of Rabbit Hole).

Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?), Driving Miss Daisy began performances on October 7, 2010, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), and officially opened Monday, October 25, 2010. The 16-week limited engagement runs through Saturday, January 29, 2011.
