The stars of Piaf - which should have been performed at Nottingham Playhouse and Leeds Playhouse this spring - have come together for an exclusive performance of Hymne a L'Amour. The piece, initiated by Director Adam Penford and Musical Director Alex Parker, gives audiences an exclusive taste of what to expect from the postponed production.

A true musical citizen of the world, French born, NYC based vocalist Chloe Perrier has one goal every time she and her French Heart Jazz Band take the stage at clubs throughout Manhattan - to make people happy and transport them away from the chaos and stress of life in the modern world. Drawing from such influences as Josephine Baker, Ella Fitzgerald and Blossom Dearie, the singer uses her velvety voice, spellbinding style and charming accent to transform any room she plays into a realm harkening back to the golden age of jazz.

Sherman, known for The King & I and Sound of Music national tours, Ragtime on Ellis Island, and Macbeth at Los Angeles Opera, brings you her original and innovative translations of Edith Piaf songs as never before heard in English. This evening celebrating the scandalous and tragic life of Edith Piaf includes hits like a?oePadam,a?? a?oeMilord,a?? and a?oeLa Vie en Rose.a??

A Song Goes Round The World will be opening at Upstairs at the Gatehouse from April 25. It features French chansons stemming from the 1930s around the time of the Holocaust, which will be sung by Daniel Donskoy, who will be joined by a special guest each evening to sing with him. Songs are from the lists of Peggy Lee, Dusty Springfield, Diana Krall, Sting, Michel LeGrand, Edith Piaf, Lucienne Delyle, Francoise Hardy, and more. Suzanna has performed in Manhattan at TOMI Jazz Club, Cafe Noctambulo/Pangea, and Mondays at Kitano Hotel's Jazz Club. She has also performed at cultural venues including the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning.
