The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in association with La Jolla Playhouse, presents a re-imagining of Henry Krieger and Bill Russell's Side Show. Directed by Academy Award winning director Bill Condon, the musical will play at La Jolla Playhouse now through December 17 and will open at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater in spring 2014. The world premiere of the powerful, intense new play 'The Royale' by Marco Ramirez opened on May 5 at the CTG/Kirk Douglas Theatre. Directed by Daniel Aukin, 'The Royale' delivers a knock-out punch with its vivid depiction of a man fighting for his place in history. 'The Royale' continues through June 2, 2013. The cast includes Robert Gossett, Diarra Oni Kilpatrick, David St. Louis, Keith Szarabajkaand DeSean Terry. BroadwayWorld has a first look at highlights of the show below.

London's Donmar Warehouse production of PARADE, presented by the Center Theatre Group at the Los Angeles Music Center, had its U.S. premiere Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Mark Taper Forum.

'Parade,' which features T.R. Knight playing the historical figure Leo Frank and Lara Pulver reprising her role as his wife, Lucille Frank, started rehearsals this week. The Center Theatre Group's presentation of the Donmar Warehouse production began previews September 24, 2009, and opened at the Mark Taper Forum on October 4. Performances continue through November 15.
