Paper Mill Playhouse presents the East Coast premiere of Benny & Joon with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture written by Barry Berman and Leslie McNeil. Benny & Joon began performances Thursday, April 4, 2019, and will continue through Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Paper Mill Playhouse (22 Brookside Drive, Millburn, NJ). Benny & Joon is presented by special arrangement with Larry Hirschhorn. Opening Night is set for Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 7:00pm.

Asolo Repertory Theatre will proudly present the world premiere of KNOXVILLE in spring 2020. This moving and innovative musical will feature lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty and will be adapted and directed by Frank Galati, reuniting the dynamic Tony Award-winning creative team behind Ragtime, one of the most beloved musicals of all time. KNOXVILLE is based on James Agee's Pulitzer Prize-winning autobiographical novel A Death in the Family and based, in part, on the play All The Way Home by Tad Mosel.  

The students of Colony High School in Dallas, Texas have quite the exciting legacy with their production of Bonnie & Clyde. All their sets, costumes and props, which includes three cars, come from the original Broadway production which starred Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan.

Sunday, Sondheim and showtunes galore were on the menu at Broadway Sessions recently as we welcomed cast members from the current hit revival of Sunday in the Park with George. Cast members Claybourne Elder, Liz McCartney, Julie Foldesi, Jennifer Sanchez and Max Chernin delighted the audience with Sondheim (Liz McCartney's one woman "Your Fault" from Into the Woods, Claybourne's revisit of Road Show and accompanying story of the night his parents met Sondheim and Jennifer Sanchez's acoustic take on "Sunday" were especially Sondheim-licious) and more.  Joining the cast in the Sondheim-ania, was 9 year old Radio City veteran and self described Sondheim maniac Finn Douglas who brought the crowd to it's feet with his pint size "Putting It Together".
