You choose the murderer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, the whodunit smash based on the unfinished novel by Charles Dickens and adapted by Tony Award?-winning writer/composer Rupert Holmes (Curtains). Scott Ellis (Harvey, She Loves Me) directs this rollicking musical in its first-ever return to Broadway since winning the Tony 'Triple Crown' (Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score)!

Today in 1977, Chicago closed at the 46th Street Theatre (now the Richard Rodgers Theatre), where it ran for 936 performances. Chicago is a musical set in Prohibition-era Chicago, with music is by John Kander with lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Chicago's 1996 Broadway revival holds the record for the longest-running musical revival on Broadway and is its fourth longest-running show.

Two-Time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera will perform songs from her legendary Broadway career in her own concert Chita Rivera: MY BROADWAY presented by Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, August 7-11 at the Civic Center Musical Hall. Below, the actress talks with the the theatre's artistic director, Michael Baron, on origination role of 'Rosie' in the now oft-performed hit BYE BYE BIRDIE.

For over twenty-five years, the late Bradshaw Smith (Founder & Executive Producer of "Broadway Beat" and Applause Video) was the theater world's preeminent videographer, capturing over 1,000 performances on Broadway, off-Broadway, in cabaret halls and beyond that now, because of him, live on today. Bradshaw Smith died on January 16, 2012, at age 57, following a sudden and severe stroke. To conclude the intimate memorial, Bradshaw's longtime friend and editor, Jonathan Frank, compiled the best of Bradshaw's work as a video artist. Roundabout Theatre Company has announced casting for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award® winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The Mystery Of Edwin Drood will star Stephanie J. Block (Edwin Drood), Will Chase (John Jasper), Gregg Edelman (Reverend Mr. Crisparkle), Jim Norton (Chairman) and Chita Rivera (Princess Puffer) with Andy Karl (Neville Landless), Jessie Mueller (Helena Landless), Betsy Wolfe (Rosa Bud), Nicholas Barasch (Deputy), Peter Benson (Bazzard), Robert Creighton (Durdles), Alison Cimmet, Nick Corley, Justin Greer, Shannon Lewis, Kiira Schmidt, Eric Sciotto, Jim Walton, Cody Williams. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
