The Old Globe presents Guys and Dolls, a musical fable of Broadway. This classic musical, the first production of the Globe's 2017 Summer Season, will run July 2 - August 13, 2017, with opening night on Friday, July 7, presented in association with Asolo Repertory Theatre. THE ORIGINALIST, by John Strand (Charles MacArthur Award-winning Lovers and Executioners), directed by Molly Smith (Camp David and Artistic Director of Arena Stage), and starring four-time Helen Hayes Award-winner Edward Gero (Goodman Theatre's Red), tells the story about a liberal law student's nerve-wracking clerkship with Justice Antonin Scalia. THE ORIGINALIST, a co-production with Asolo Repertory Theatre, is now playing through May 7, 2017.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF presents F. Scott Fitzgerald's literary masterpiece, The Great Gatsby from February 8 - March 26, 2017 in the Margeson Theater. Adapted for stage by Simon Levy, The Great Gatsby will play in repertory with William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost (February 22 - March 24, 2017). BroadwayWorld has a first look below!

Debra Cox's new R&B pop ballad 'More Than I Knew' will be released on iTunes on April 14th. The song is the first official single from her forthcoming sixth album, 'Work of Art.'

Asolo Repertory Theatre closed its production of Noah Racey's Pulse on June 16th, 2013. Tommy Tune made a surprise appearance at the final performance to congratulate the cast and creative team. Click below to watch the emotional backstage moment!

Extending this season's hot streak of productions that make bold artistic statements, Asolo Repertory Theatre presents Noah Racey's Pulse. A song and dance celebration that harkens back to the golden age of hoofing, Pulse is written, conceived, and choreographed by Broadway song and dance man Noah Racey in collaboration with Broadway director and two-time Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun. Pulse opens on Thursday, May 23 with an 8 p.m. curtain. Opening night will be preceded by two preview performances on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. and May 22 at 8 p.m. The show runs through June 16, 2013 in Asolo Rep's Mertz Theatre located in The FSU Center for the Performing Arts. Tony Nominee Laura Osnes made a special appearance and sang an original song in the new musical comedy web series, 'City of Dreams.' Watch the whole second episode, 'Unexpected Song', below! (And look for Osnes around the 7-minute mark.)

Asolo Repertory Theatre is thrilled to introduce Florida audiences to Las Meninas, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage. The play is directed by Asolo Rep Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards, who directed the World Premiere of Las Meninas at San Jose Rep in 2002. The Asolo Rep production of Las Meninas runs from March 18-May 15, 2011 in Asolo Rep's Mertz Theatre; then will travel to Miami to perform as part of the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) soft opening. The SMDCAC performance is hoped to foster a further artistic exchange between the two cities and the two organizations, and lead to more projects. Brandi Burkhardt has starred in the Los Angeles Reprise! Production of Li'l Abner and in Jekyll & Hyde: Resurrection. In A Tale of Two Cities she stars as Lucie Manette, she is also making her Broadway debut in the role. BWW TV discussed with her what a pivtol role her character plays in the story, the magic of Charles Dickens words and how excitied she is to be a part of this epic production.

As an actor Ron Sharpe made his mark on Broadway in such shows like Les Miserables, The Civil War and The Scarlet Pimpernel, he has just returned to the Great White Way, but not as a performer, this time he is the executive producer, along with his wife, actress Barbara Russell, of A Tale of Two Cities, the new musical which opened on Broadway Thursday, September 18th. BWW TV spoke to him on the eve of the show's opening night about his nine year adventure in bringing A Tale of Two Cities and his Broadway dreams to life.

Set against the epic backdrop of the French Revolution and based on the classic Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities is a musical about injustice, vengeance and the redemptive power of love. As the ongoing series of BWW TV features with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical continues, the actors discuss the power and passion of the thrilling score and the epic tale that inspired it.

Michael Hayward-Jones was a cast member of the Original Broadway production of Evita, his other Broadway credits include Me and My Girl and Brigadoon. In A Tale of Two Cities he stars as Jarvis Lorry. In an ongoing series of BWW TV features with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical, he gives insight into his character, the life of a working actor and the gift of being part of the show's theatrical family.

Nick Wyman starred as Monsieur Firmin in the Original Broadway Cast of The Phantom of the Opera. His other Broadway credits include Les Miserables, Sly Fox, My Fair Lady, the Magic Show and On the Twentieth Century. In A Tale of Two Cities he stars as John Barsad. As the fourth interview in an ongoing series of BWW TV features with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical, he reveals his long history with the production, the excitement of developing an original character over time and how the show continues to inspire.

Natalie Toro starred as Eponine in the Original Broadway of Les Miserables. Her other stage credits include A Christmas Carol, Jesus Christ Superstar and the title role in the acclaimed 1999 20 Anniversary National Tour of Evita. In A Tale of Two Cities she stars as Madame Therese Defarge. In the third of a series of BWW TV interviews with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical, she shares her personal insight into the character of Defarge, finding new inspiration during rehearsals and how the story continues to be emotional for her as it readies for the first preview performance.
