Harriet Harris Set To Star In The Shakespeare Theatre Of New Jersey's NOISES OFF, Beginning 8/5

Harriet Harris, Tony Award winner for best featured actress in a musical for Thoroughly Modern Millie, has joined the cast of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's production of Noises Off by Michael Frayn, which begins performances on August 5 and continues through August 30th. Harriet Harris, who also won a Drama Desk award for her performance as Mrs. Meers in the hit Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, will play Dotty Otley, the role originated by Dorothy Louden on Broadway.

Shakespeare Theater Of NJ Announces THE SCHOOL FOR WIVES 7/8 & NOISES OFF 8/5

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey celebrates the summer with two back-to-back classic comedies on the Main Stage. Molière's classic farce, The School for Wives, directed by Brian B. Crowe, kicks off the summer's mirth on July 8 and runs through July 26. The Tony Award nominated Noises Off, the hugely popular British farce by Michael Frayn and directed by Paul Mullins, begins performances on August 5 and continues through August 30.

Shakespeare Theatre of NJ Presents 'Private Lives'

Private Lives, one of Noël Coward's most famous and successful comedies, takes the stage at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey beginning August 6 and continuing through August 31. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at The Shakespeare Theatre's Main Stage, the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue in Madison. Tickets range from $29 to $33 for Previews and $38 to $53 for regular performances, depending on performance day and time and seat location. For tickets or more information, call 973-408-5600 or visit www.ShakespeareNJ.org. Patrons may also purchase Ticket Packages for additional discounts. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for group discounts.

Anthony Rapp (Rent) and Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde) headed the cast of a one-night-only performance of The King Stag, written and directed by Jeremy Dobrish (adapted from the original Carlo Gozzi play) on Monday, March 24 with a 6PM reception and 7:30PM performance at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) to benefit Resonance Ensemble's 2008 season.
