Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is upgrading its Airbus A330 fleet the final fleet type to receive the modification to include full flat-bed seats in the BusinessElite cabin and new 'slim line' seats, which offer more personal space throughout the Economy cabin. The first modified A330 operated its first flight yesterday from Atlanta to Detroit and will operate from Detroit to Amsterdam today. There are 32 A330s in the Delta fleet.
Pontine Theatre is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this season with a new production based on New England's Transcendental Movement of the 1830's and 40's. The Common Heart: A Transcendental Revue, premieres 26 April - 12 May at Pontine's West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St, Portsmouth NH. Performances are Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm, and Sundays at 2pm. There is an additional 8pm performance scheduled for Saturday 27 April. The production, directed by Ron Russell, begins previews Off-Broadway tonight, Tuesday, April 16th and opens Saturday, April 20th at 8:00 PM at the Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). The play will run through May 4th.

According to Variety, producers Mike Medavoy and Bobby Geisler are developing a revamped film version of The Gershwins' opera Porgy and Bess. Medavoy and Geisler are collaborating with the Gershwin family and lyricist DuBose Heyward's estate for the updated film.

The Flea has announced that Thirteen WNET will be filming the critically acclaimed production of THE VANDAL on March 29. A broadcast date has not been slated. Written by actor Hamish Linklater (School for Lies, Twelfth Night, Recent Tragic Events & The Busy World is Hushed, and TV's The New Adventures of Old Christine), The Vandal runs through March 31. It is directed by Flea Artistic Director Jim Simpson starring Zach Grenier, Deidre O'Connell, and Noah Robbins.

Due to popular demand, The Flea Theater has announced that Hamish Linklater's playwriting debut THE VANDAL will return for a limited 2 weekend run beginning March 22. The play stars Deirdre O'Connell, Zach Grenier and Noah Robbins, with direction by Jim Simpson, The Flea's founder and Artistic Director.
On March 15 at 7:30pm, clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein will perform at New York City's WMP Concert Hall with cellist Julia Bruskin, violinist Miranda Cuckson, and pianist Aaron Wunsch in a program of Bach's Excerpts from the Musical Offering, BWC 1079 and Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. The concert is part of the WMP Concert Hall's "Pairings Series" in which two unlikely composers are paired in concerts, and audience members can enjoy a glass of wine included with admission.
Playwright, and Emmy Award winner, Elliot Shoenman will return to the Odyssey Theatre with his newest play A Heap Of Livin', which includes original music by David Shire (Oscar/Grammy Award, multiple Tony/Emmy noms). Elliot's work, the Ovation Award nominated AfterMath, starring Annie Potts, played to sold-out houses at the Odyssey last season, launched by the Inkwell Theater.
