According to the official iTunes charts, the Broadway Records recording of 'What the World Needs Now is Love', which benefits the victims of the Orlando shooting massacre, is currently the No. 2 most down-loaded song.

THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS have announced the industry coaches for the eighth annual awards ceremony on Monday, June 27th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan.

The Broadway League, the national trade organization for the commercial theatre industry, announces the 2016 League Educator Apple Award recipients. Now in its fourteenth year, the awards acknowledge the efforts of local teachers and advocates who support programs relating to Broadway or Touring Broadway shows, promoting further development of theatre education.

Created to honor the victims and those wounded in the Orlando shooting massacre at Pulse nightclub and aid the surrounding community, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the LGBT Center of Central Florida. The presentation will take place on Monday, June 27th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan. Online theater streaming service BroadwayHD will live stream 'She Loves Me,' marking the first time a Broadway show has been broadcast live. Roundabout Theatre Company's hit revival of 'She Loves Me,' starring Laura Benanti, Zachary Levi and Jane Krakowski, will be available to watch live on BroadwayHD.com on Thursday, June 30 at 8 p.m. EDT. The show will be produced in association with Ellen M. Krass.

THE 70TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, aired live from the Beacon Theatre, last night Sunday, June 12 on the CBS Television Network. After the ceremony is when the real fun started though, as most of the evening's celebrity guests headed to the annual Tonys Gala at the Plaza Hotel.
