2014 Tony Award Nominations - Who Was SNUBBED?!

The 2014 Tony Award Nominations were announced earlier today, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who just fell short of a 2014 nod. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you the list of the productions and performers who were sadly overlooked by the nominating committee.

Breaking News: Final 2014 Tony Awards Eligibility from LADY DAY to CABARET!

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the fourth and final time this season to determine the eligibility of eighteen Broadway productions for the 2014 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has met a total of four times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Michael Goldberg Will Guest Direct Northwestern's 2014 WAA-MU SHOW

Not only has Northwestern University's 83rd Annual Waa-Mu Show snagged Joseph Jefferson ("Jeff") Award-winning Chicago-based director and actor Michael Goldberg to guest direct this year, the musical confection is partnering with Andy's Frozen Custard. The downtown Evanston store is creating a special Waa-Mu Concrete that will be available to sweet-loving Waa-Mu fans.

2014 Drama League Award Nominations Announced - Shows, Stars & More!

Co-Hosts Judith Light and Christopher Sieber announced the nominations for the 2014 Drama League Awards, including Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The 2014 Drama League Nomination announcement begins the month of celebrations leading up to the 80th Annual Drama League Awards, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 16, 2014 at noon hosted by Broadway veteran Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

BULLETS OVER BROADWAY Cuts 'F*ck' from Wednesday Matinees

Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, is now in its first official week of performances at the St. James Theater, and according to an Instagram from Helene Yorke, who plays Olive, the show is making a minor change for its matinee audiences. In order to make the show more appropriate for student groups, the work 'f*ck' will be removed from Wednesday matinee performances.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film opened Thursday night at the St. James Theatre, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was on hand to chat with the company after the curtain went down. TV: On the Red Carpet for Opening Night of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY!

All of Broadway's brightest stars gathered last night at the St. James Theatre to celebrate the opening of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY Set for FSLC's FROM SCREEN TO STAGE, 5/5

The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced today a one-night-only event, From Screen to Stage: Bullets Over Broadway, on Monday, May 5 at 6:30PM. The evening will include a screening of an archival print of Woody Allen's rollicking Oscar-winning jazz-age ensemble comedy Bullets Over Broadway, followed by a conversation with five-time Tony-winning director/choreographer Susan Stroman and lead producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg. The event celebrates the April opening of Bullets over Broadway: The Musical, starring Zach Braff and Marin Mazzie, at the St. James Theatre.
