FOCUS DANCE is a part of FOCUS 2014, the National Platform to promote American dance both abroad and nationally. Embraced by audiences as one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, The Merry Wives of Windsor is an energetic romp with the lovable rogue Sir John Falstaff, performed by Scott Jaeck, as he charms and conspires against the townspeople of Windsor, only to be outsmarted by Mistress Page and Mistress Ford, performed by Kelli Fox and Heidi Kettenring. Chicago Shakespeare's production will transport audiences to post-war England in the late 1940s with a soundtrack of spirited dance music. After the success of A Little Night Music in Concert, Alex Parker returns to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre for one night with a concert that features the music of three of Broadway's greatest composers. Sell A Door Theatre Company is announce the full tour dates and casting for their original adaptation of KIDNAPPED by Ivan Wilkinson. The tour is the first in three Robert Louis Stevenson adaptations the company has committed to from 2014-2016. It will kick off in January and runs through May 2014.
