The School of American Ballet's 50th Annual Workshop Performance on May 31, 2014, at 2 pm, was a delight. SAB students performed excerpts and one full length Balanchine ballet chosen to recognize the School's co-founder, George Balanchine, and former faculty member, Alexandra Danilova, who together launched SAB's first year-end student workshop in 1965.

Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes have announced the cast of this year's much-anticipated family pantomime, Dick Whittington, ahead of its arrival on the Lyceum stage from Friday 5 December 2014 until Sunday 4 January 2015.

The full cast for The Nightmares of Carlos Fuentes are Caroline Langrishe (Lydia King), Sara Bahadori (Case Worker/Sahar Husain) and Selva Rasalingam (Kevin/Khaled Al Hamrani) who join the previously announced Nabil Elouahabi (Carlos Fuentes).

Little Fish Theatre today announced the opening of the next show of its thirteenth season, road trip comedy, MAMA WON'T FLY. Written by three of the most produced playwrights in America, Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, MAMA WON'T FLY is the third Jones Hope Wooten play to be produced at Little Fish, following THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB and THE HALLELUJAH GIRLS.

The School of American Ballet announces the Workshop Performance Benefit 2014 on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, celebrating 50 years of these annual performances. The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30pm in Julliard's Morse Hall, followed by the performance at 7pm. A seated dinner at 9:15pm followed by dancing will conclude the evening. There will be major cast changes in the West End production of the 2014 BBC Radio 2 Olivier Audience Award winner "LES MISERABLES" at the Queen's Theatre from 16 June 2014.
