Back by popular demand, ON KENTUCKY AVENUE: A Celebration of Atlantic City's Historic Club Harlem returns to City College's performing arts center Aaron Davis Hall on Friday, February 19, for a three-day encore engagement. The show, which shines a red-hot spotlight on a little-known piece of Black history, is presented by the City College Center for the Arts (CCCA) and Byron and Sylvia Lewis. On Monday, December 14, San Francisco-based playwright Jordan Ramirez Puckett received Abingdon Theatre Company's 2015 Christopher Brian Wolk Award for her play Restore. Artistic Director Tony Speciale presented Ms. Puckett with her award and directed a stage reading of the new play about how an unthinkable event affects a young couple and their families. The reading featured Chris Dwan, Yvette Ganier, Ginger Grace, Dominique Fishback, and Michael Winther, with stage directions read by Zach McCoy.

New Dawn, a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Aaron Michael Krueger will be a part of the Venus/Adonis Theatre Festival this upcoming January.

PEOPLE reports exclusively that the final three actors for FOX's upcoming GREASE: LIVE have been cast. The trio will portray the T-Birds and Pink Ladies in the upcoming FOX musical broadcast.

The Aviva Players, now in its 40th season, invites opera goers to travel into the past and future with its 'Double Feature of Chamber Opera Films' to be presented at Opera America, 330 Seventh Ave., Manhattan, tonight, November 4. The films are 'Villa Diodati' a screen version of Mira J. Spektor's opera about Mary Shelley and the origins of her Frankenstein story, and 'Libertaria: the Virtual Opera' by Sabrina Pena Young, a futuristic animated tale that may be the world's first original machinima opera and is certainly one of the few animated comic book operas.
