2014 BroadwayWorld NY Cabaret Award Winner JOE ICONIS To Be Celebrity Judge for TUNE IN TIME at York Theatre, 3/9

By popular demand, The York Theatre Company and producers Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, will present the March edition of the new musical theater game show called Tune in Time, hosted by Emily McNamara. Music direction is by Nate Buccieri, and Sheila Head is the annoyingly insistent timekeeper, on Monday, March 9, 2015 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Additional dates announced include April 5, May 4, with more to come. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Jenn Colella, Erin Davie & More Set for York's 100 MUSICALS IN MUFTI Benefit Concert; John Tartaglia to Host!

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, will present an unforgettable one-night only benefit, The 100 Musicals in Mufti Concert Celebration. The evening will honor the acclaimed Musicals in Mufti Series and its landmark 100th production, on Monday evening, March 30, 2015 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in The Sanctuary at Saint Peter's Church (619 Lexington Avenue at the corner of East 54th Street). All proceeds will benefit The York Theatre Company and the Musicals in Mufti Series.

Marymount Manhattan College's Spring Theatre Festival Continues Next Week

Marymount Manhattan College (MMC), a private liberal arts college on Manhattan's Upper East Side, and the college's celebrated musical theatre program, will present a spring theatre festival honoring three generations of musical writers - Richard Rodgers, renowned composer of American popular music and Broadway shows; his daughter, Mary Rodgers, author of Freaky Friday and composer of the Broadway musical comedy, Once Upon a Mattress; and her son, Adam Guettel, composer and lyricist, and Tony winner for his musical The Light in the Piazza.

The Media Theatre Presents GHOST: THE MUSICAL, Now thru 3/29

GHOST: THE MUSICAL is at The Media Theatre during the month of March. Based on the extremely popular film from 1990 which had fans swooning over Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore (and an Oscar winning performance from Whoopi Goldberg), it's as romantic as a musical can be.

A LA CARTE: A FEAST OF NEW PLAYS to Run 4/9-5/2 at Workshop Theater Company

Food is a prism to look into love and sex, conflict and life in the six short plays of 'A la Carte: a Feast of New Plays,' to be presented by WorkShop Theater Company, 312 West 36th Street, from April 9 to May 2. Short works of various genres by Allan Knee, Dana Leslie Goldstein, Laurie Graff, Laura Hirschberg, Gary Giovanetti and Scott C. Sickles will be presented. Leslie Kincaid Burby directs the entire evening.

Iddo Netanyahu's A HAPPY END Begins Tonight at Abingdon Theatre

Abingdon Theatre Company -- which has produced 83 new American plays since 1993 -- continues its 22nd Season with A HAPPY END, a new play by Iddo Netanyahu, with previews set to begin tonight, February 27, 2015, prior to an official press opening March 11 in Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Off-Broadway performances run through March 29. Alex Dmitriev (God's Daughter) is set to direct.

York's TEXAS IN PARIS to Host Talkback Following Matinee Tomorrow

The York Theatre Company will offer a Special Talkback Panel with the Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Lewis, Senior Pastor of Middle Collegiate Church and Michael Dinwiddie, Acting Associate Dean at The Gallatin School of Individualized Study, immediately following tomorrow's matinee, February 21 at 2:30 p.m. of the new musical play, Texas in Paris, written by Alan Govenar.
