Fox Valley Rep Kicks Off 2015 Season With NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY, Running Through 3/8

Fox Valley Repertory opens their 2015 theater series with Douglas J. Cohen's musical game of cat and mouse, No Way To Treat a Lady. Based on the novel and movie by William Goldman (The Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), the award-winning musical is directed by John Gawlik with music direction by Jeffrey Poindexter and choreography by Christie Kerr. Performances will take place at the Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage January 15 - March 8, 2015.

Serrano NY, LLC is thrilled to present the World Premiere of SERRANO THE MUSICAL, book and lyrics by Madeline Sunshine, music by Robert Tepper, musical direction by Jeff Rizzo (Sunset Blvd. The Wizard of Oz), choreography by Peggy Hickey (A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder) and directed by Tony nominee Joel Zwick (Dance With Me, 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'). SERRANO THE MUSICAL will begin previews on Thursday, January 8, 2015 and will open tonight, January 16 at 8pm and run through Sunday, March 29 at the Matrix Theatre, 7657 Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood.

Abingdon Theatre Company-which has produced 83 new American plays since 1993-continues its 22nd Season with A HAPPY END, a new play by Iddo Netanyahu, with previews set to begin February 27, 2015, prior to an official press opening March 11 in Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Off-Broadway performances run through March 29. Alex Dmitriev (God's Daughter) is set to direct.

Douglas Sills has joined the cast of George and Ira Gershwin's Lady, Be Good, joining previously announced cast members Tommy Tune, Colin Donnell, Danny Gardner, Jeff Hiller, Erin Mackey, Patti Murin, Richard Poe, Jennifer Laura Thompson and Kirsten Wyatt. The opening production of New York City Center's 2015Encores! season, directed by Mark Brokaw and choreographed by Randy Skinner, will run for seven performances, February 4 - 8, 2015. Founding Encores! Music Director Rob Fisher will return as Guest Music Director and has supervised the restoration of the Gershwins' original score.

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Murder for Two, with book and music by Joe Kinosian and book and lyrics by Kellen Blair. Globe veteran Scott Schwartz (A Room with a View at the Globe, The Hunchback of Notre Dame at La Jolla Playhouse) returns to direct Blair and Kinosian's Off Broadway hit, a vaudevillian mystery musical with an energetic two-man cast. Murder for Two will run January 24 - March 1 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
