FilAm ARTS (The Association for the Advancement of Filipino American Arts and Culture) is thrilled to announce the return of The Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture (FPAC), the longest-running Filipino cultural celebration in Southern California now in its 28th year, live and in person, September 3rd, from 4 - 10 PM at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park.
19 year old Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ylona Garcia has released an absolute banger of a song called “Entertain Me” via PARADISE RISING/88rising Music. Much like her 2021 single “All That,” “Entertain Me” is a straight up female empowerment anthem and destined for club greatness.
A video for the song -- a choreographed splash of awesomeness which plays on all of the mundane experiences we’re lucky to leave behind in 2020 -- is also out today.
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, through Columbia Pictures, together with MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines), held a special advance screening of its live-action retelling of the animated classic 'Beauty and the Beast' (1991) at IMAX Megamall Theatre in Mandaluyong Monday night.
