Should you ask Bryce McDonald to point out the year of his life in which it was changed - irrevocably, but most certainly, for the better - chances are he would have difficulty in pinning down the most significant time in his life. MCC Theater broke ground today on its first permanent home, which will unite the company's diverse roster of programs under one roof for the first time in its three-decade history. MCC Artistic Directors Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, and William Cantler were joined by Executive Director Blake West, members of the Board of Directors, New York City's Department of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Tom Finkelpearl, and members of the Theater's extended community of theater artists. The 2016 Jacob's Pillow Dance Award, a prestigious honor that carries a $25,000 cash prize, will be presented to contemporary choreographer, dancer, and artistic director Camille A. Brown in acknowledgement of her vision and outstanding contributions to the dance field. Regularly garnering acclaim for her 'vividness and versatility' (Alastair Macaulay, The New York Times), Brown holds a New York Dance and Performance ('Bessie') Award, two Princess Grace Awards, a Doris Duke Performing Artist Award, and her work has toured nationally and internationally. The Jacob's Pillow Dance Award was established in 2007 and, in honor of its 10th anniversary, the Pillow has broadened the scope of this honor with a commitment to the artist's growth and future work. In addition to the unrestricted cash prize, this Award also includes a committed engagement for the 2017 Festival and a Creative Development Residency at Jacob's Pillow. Previous recipients of the Jacob's Pillow Dance Award include the legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham; MacArthur Fellows Michelle Dorrance and Kyle Abraham; and John Heginbotham of Dance Heginbotham, among others.

Cameron Mackintosh's production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's legendary musical LES MISERABLES will celebrate its Second Anniversary Wednesday, March 23 at the Imperial Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Chad Michael Murray to Lead CMT Series Inspired by Musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

CMT today announced that Chad Michael Murray ('Agent Carter,' 'Outlaws and Angels' and 'Texas Rising') will portray rock 'n' roll pioneer Sam Phillips in the upcoming scripted drama inspired by the musical 'Million Dollar Quartet.' Jennifer Holland ('American Pie Presents: The Book of Love,' 'American Horror Story') will play Sam's devoted wife Becky Phillips, while Margaret Anne Florence ('Inside Amy Schumer,' and '30 Rock')is set to play his assistant-turned-girlfriend, Marion Keisker. Production begins this spring in Memphis with the series slated to premiere this November on CMT.

Finally, an update on the long-gestating MISS SAIGON film adaptation! Rumored since 2012 and mentioned again when the Boublil and Schonberg musical returned to the West End in 2014, the Daily Mail writes that Danny Boyle -- the director behind SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, 127 HOURS, London's 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, STEVE JOBS and more -- is in talks to helm the project for Cameron Mackintosh and Working Title. No official announcement has been made.
