Combining a provocative parable of sin and redemption with a good, old-fashioned ghost story, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Carrie, Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark, Fox's Glee) explores what might have come next for the real-life Puritan villainess at the center of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. ICT artistic director caryn desai [sic] directs the West Coast premiere of Abigail/1702, opening tonight, May 1 at International City Theatre in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Two low-priced previews are set for April 29 and 30.

The Ford's Theatre Society 2014-2015 season continues with the musical Freedom's Song: Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War, directed by Jeff Calhoun, March 13 through May 20, 2015, at the historic Ford's Theatre (511 Tenth Street NW, Washington, D.C.). A new adaptation of the Broadway musical The Civil War, Freedom's Song features the words of Abraham Lincoln and music inspired by the letters of those who lived through the Civil War. The production is part of Ford's 150: Remembering the Lincoln Assassination, a series of events marking the 150 years since Abraham Lincoln's assassination at Ford's Theatre.

BPA Theatre School begins taking enrollments for the Spring Session (mid-April - late May) on February 12. The Spring Session includes offerings in five primary programs: Developing Actors, Building Character, Teen Intensive, Performance Series, and Specialty Classes. BPA is also delighted open enrollment for the "SEUSSICAL JR. Production Camp" (July 6 - August 1) and the "Intermediate Intensive + SEUSSICAL JR. Production Camp" (June 29 - August 1). Led by experienced teaching artists, BPA Theatre School provides year-round classes and camps for all ages and experience levels.

?Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc., a professional, non profit theatre company specializing in family theatre, has announced its upcoming schedule of theatre camps for young actors. In addition to its April School Vacation Week Camp, the company will also present five weeks of Summer Theatre Camp in conjunction with the Milford Arts Council at the Center for the Arts in Downtown Milford.
