The Town Hall, New York City's landmark theatre and concert venue (123 West 43rd Street), is pleased to honor two influential women: Judith Jamison, Artistic Director Emerita of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Dr. Joyce F. Brown, President of the Fashion Institute of Technology.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for KING LEAR, directed by James Macdonald, beginning preview performances on Tuesday, October 18. Kristen Connolly (Cordelia), Bill Irwin (The Fool), and Frank Wood (Cornwall) will join the company that includes the previously announced Che Ayende (Duke of Burgundy/Knight/Servant), Craig Bockhorn (Doctor), Michael Crane (Oswald), Herb Foster (Old Man/Knight), Seth Gilliam (Edmund), Enid Graham (Goneril), Michael Izquierdo (King of France), Michael McKean (Gloucester), Arian Moayed (Edgar), Kelli O'Hara (Regan), John Douglas Thompson (Kent), Richard Topol (Albany), and Sam Waterston (Lear).

Today we are continuing the male-centric portion of our ongoing series of interviews with the stars of Lifetime's DROP DEAD DIVA with the boss of the legal practice on the show and the main love interest for Kate Levering's character, Kim: the affable and charming stage and screen star Josh Stamberg. In addition to dishing all about Season 3 of DROP DEAD DIVA and the future for Parker, Kim and company at the legal firm, Stamberg and I also discuss many of the various guest stars on the show this season and seasons past - Liza Minnelli, Sharon Lawrence and Faith Prince included - as well as how he sees Parker himself, his own insights into the complex character and what he feels the future holds for his relationships on the show - Kim, Jane and beyond. Season Three picked up with the cliffhanger car crash that closed last season in a dark and shocking way. Questions and posed and answered so far: What will Grayson remember of the conversation he had with Jane pre-crash? What will Jane do to save him? What about his engagement (to somebody else)? What will happen back at the office with Teri, Kim and Parker? What about Stacy and Fred? Indeed, all of these questions and many more will most assuredly be answered come the next two Sunday nights! FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its star-studded Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of Tony Award winning singer and actress BETTY BUCKLEY. In an exclusive four week run of the new show 'Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway,' Buckley will perform men's songs from Broadway shows that she has always wanted to sing, including numbers from Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Pippin, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles. She will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Peter Barshay on bass and Anthony Pinciotti on drums. The show will run October 4 to 29 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Michael Riedel writes in the New York Post today that Hugh Jackman's one-man concert, Hugh Jackman in Concert which played earlier this year to rave reviews in Toronto will open on Broadway on October 25, 2011 at the Broadhurst Theater for eight weeks.

Abingdon Theatre Company - which has produced 63 new American plays in its 18-year history - is set to honor playwright and actor Charles Busch and actress Julie Halston during its 19th Annual Benefit Gala on Monday, October 24 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street) Manhattan.

RELATIVELY SPEAKING, three one-act comedies by the prolific writing trio of Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, begins previews on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
