Mr. Schuester signs up Jesse to consult him on how to prepare the New Directions, which has Finn on edge, and only gets worse as Jesse calls Finn out on his less than stellar talents. Sue, Terri, and Howard hack into Principal Figgin's email account to mess with the New Directions travel plans to New York, before Terri calls Sue on her more ruthless than usual exterior. Becky and her mother come to Will to inquire about Becky joining Glee Club after Sue kicks her off the Cheerios, but sadly Will is unable to fulfill the request so close to Nationals. Will confronts Sue on why she kicked Becky off the Cheerios, only to find out that Jean, Sue's sister has passed away, and Becky is a reminder of the sister Sue lost. Jesse and Will put up a sign up sheet to audition for soloist for Nationals, but Finn refuses to sign up due to Jesse's harsh criticisms.
Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) launches its 27th season with the World Premiere of the new comedy, Olive and the Bitter Herbs by Charles Busch.
