Staying true to its commitment to provide Brooklyn with eclectic programming of intimate revivals and ambitious new work, The Gallery Players is proud to announce the lineup for the 2009 - 2010 season: The House of Blue Leaves; Top of the Heap; Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge; Caroline, or Change; The Crucible; and City of Angels. The Gallery Players rounds out its 43rd season with The 13th Annual Black Box New Play Festival and The Peanut Gallery, Park Slope's musical theatre summer adventure camp for kids.
'LOVE, NY' Wins The American Harmony Prize

This past fall, Stamford's Curtain Call, Inc., presented a concert reading of the new romantic musical comedy LOVE, INCORPORATED. On Monday, February 9, the theater will mount the second of this season's concert readings: another new romantic musical comedy LOVE, NY, the winner of this year's American Harmony Prize.

Finalists have been announced for the 2008 American Harmony Prize, a playwriting award sponsored by Stamford, Connecticut's Curtain Call, Inc., to spotlight new musicals that explore our country's many ethnic, religious and gender identifications. The second annual American Harmony Prize will showcase a new musical that dramatizes an aspect of the experience of Jewish Americans.
'Blindsided By a Diaper' at Musical Mondays Series

Married actors Charma and David Bonanno will head up the cast of Blindsided by a Diaper: The Musical, the next and final event in the Stamford, Connecticut, based Curtain Call Theater's 2007/2008 Musical Mondays series of concert readings. The musical is adapted from the Three River's Press collection of essays about the changes that couples face in their relationships when children enter into the picture. The musical was written by the book's editor, Dana Bedford Hilmer, and songwriters Jeffrey Lodin and William Squier (100 Years into the Heart, Top of the Heap).
