The New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) has announced that the 2025 Perry Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the historic Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood.
Six composers have been invited to participate in a lab environment prioritizing craft, innovation, and building a community of next generation film music artists. Led by program director Peter Golub with the support of Creative Advisors working in the industry, the fellows will engage in a week-long Intensive celebrating the power of film music.

Emmy, Golden Globe and two time Academy Award winner Michael Douglas will be celebrated at the Film Society's 37th Annual Chaplin Award Gala on the evening of Monday May 24th at Alice Tully Hall. Yale School of Drama has announced that the New Theater, a 200-seat state-of-the art performance venue located at 1156 Chapel Street, was renamed the Frederick Iseman Theater in a dedication ceremony on May 30.
