A third-generation enthusiast of the performing arts, Scott most recently served as Executive Director of The Grand, an historic theatre and nonprofit organization on the coast of Maine, from 2008 to 2013. This was a transformational time for the organization with Scott leading a community-wide restoration campaign and a turnaround in educational programming.

Jane Harvey, who recorded a string of classic hits with the Benny Goodman orchestra in the 1940's and later sang with Desi Arnaz, died Aug. 15 at her home in West Hollywood. She was 88 and the cause was cancer.
