The New-York Historical Society is proud to announce a partnership with Bank of America to bring free cultural programming to the Upper West Side on Friday nights in the spring of 2013.

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel brings the late night, downtown vibe to the Upper East Side with its new "Second Act, A Late Night Series of Fun and Entertainment" at the Cafe Carlyle. The new series begins March 1st in the iconic cabaret room and will host the series of performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturdaynights at 10:45pm, following performances of the Cafe Carlyle's regularly scheduled season lineup. Stacy Sullivan will kick off the Second Act Series, followed by Jo Thompsonand "Midnight at Gatsbys: The F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook."

Theatre C will present Echoes of Etta featuring William Blake tonight, February 23 at Joes Pub located at 425 Lafayette Street, NYC.10003 at 9:30 pm.

Yoshi's San Francisco has announced newly-added shows fro March, April and June 2013, featuring Jeff Bradshaw, The Family Stone, DJ Afrika Bambaata, The Tubes feat. Fee Waybill, Dawn Richard, Freddie Jackson, Boca Do Rio, Marcus Johnson, Portland Cello Project Play Beck, Brubeck & Bach, Pharoah Sanders, Renaud Garcia-Fons, Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks and Catherine Russell. Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble's hit production of Cole Porter's Fifty Million Frenchmen returns to the New York stage this week, for seven performances only: Friday, Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. (preview); Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. (opening); Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.; Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 27 at 4 p.m. (closing). On Tuesday, January 8, 2013, the Friars Club presented ELVIS: THE KING IN NEW YORK - A JAZZ & CABARET BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE. Inspired by the recent release of a lavish boxed set from Sony BMG containing all the extant audio and video recordings of Elvis Presley's only formal concert in New York.

For her first New York nightclub engagement in 25 years, Raney is accompanied by her longtime colleague Alan Broadbent on piano, in addition to Harvie Swartz on bass and Bill Goodwin on drums. Part of the evening's repertoire will be drawn from their last two albums together: Heart's Desire: A Tribute to Doris Day and Listen Here. The show will run through November 10 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
