Cafe Carlyle to Launch SECOND ACT Series with Stacy Sullivan, 3/1

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel brings the late night, downtown vibe to the Upper East Side with its new "Second Act, A Late Night Series of Fun and Entertainment" at the Cafe Carlyle. The new series begins March 1st in the iconic cabaret room and will host the series of performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturdaynights at 10:45pm, following performances of the Cafe Carlyle's regularly scheduled season lineup. Stacy Sullivan will kick off the Second Act Series, followed by Jo Thompsonand "Midnight at Gatsbys: The F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook."

Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble's hit production of Cole Porter's Fifty Million Frenchmen returns to the New York stage this week, for seven performances only: Friday, Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. (preview); Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. (opening); Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.; Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 27 at 4 p.m. (closing). Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble, one of New York's longest-running experimental theatres, is bringing back this fall's hit production of Cole Porter's Fifty Million Frenchmen for seven performances only. Feinstein's at Loews Regency continues its Fall 2012 season with the premiere engagement of Grammy nominated jazz singer, Sue Raney. For her first New York nightclub engagement in 25 years, Raney is accompanied by her longtime colleague Alan Broadbent on piano, in addition to Harvie Swartz on bass and Bill Goodwin on drums. Part of the evening's repertoire will be drawn from their last two albums together: Heart's Desire: A Tribute to Doris Day and Listen Here. The show will run through November 10 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
