The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the national awardees of the 47th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), which was held April 13-18, 2015.

ArtsBridge Foundation, the arts education outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, presents the 2015 Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards. Twenty four (24) public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards, which showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theater talent, will be presented live at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre tonight, April 23 in an Awards Show hosted by WSB-TV's Fred Blankenship and Wendy Corona.

Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb is proud to announce casting for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Now in its 20th season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 20th through June 29th at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH by Jerry Lieblich, directed by Lee Sunday Evans; CARD AND GIFT by Kate E. Ryan, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll; and MEN ON BOATS by Jaclyn Backhaus, directed by Will Davis. In Sorry Robot, four performers and a piano create a haunting world where robots long to experience the same emotions that their embarrassing, sort-of-pathetic human masters feel. In a hotel that doubles as a software development facility in an ever-dystopian Florida, the machines of the future set out to prove they can do almost anything but shut up.

There's no place like home-especially for the holidays-and this holiday season, there will be no place like Penobscot Theatre Company. The Wizard of Oz will take audiences over the rainbow, tonight, December 4-28, in a journey comfortably familiar yet delightfully surprising.
