Tonight, the mammoth Disney Theatricals pulls back the curtain on the eight Broadway shows that they have brought to the stage over the past 20 years. BACKSTAGE WITH DISNEY ON BROADWAY: CELEBRATING 20 YEARS will be hosted by Broadway favorite, and ABC Family member, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and will feature performances by Elton John, Sam Palladio and Clare Bowen (from ABC's NASHVILLE), Ashley Brown (Broadway's original Mary Poppins), Darren Criss (GLEE), Adam Jacobs (Broadway's Aladdin), and more.

Andrew Lippa and Brian Crawley's beloved musical, A Little Princess, is coming to 54 Below. The cast will include Abigail Shapiro (current star of Liberty: A Monumental New Musical, "Cindy Lou Who" in How The Grinch Stole Christmas) as Sara Crewe, composer Andrew Lippa (Big Fish, The Addams Family, I am Harvey Milk) as Miss Minchin, Emerson Steele (young "Violet" in Violet) as Becky, Alicia Hall Moran (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess) as Aljana along with Paige Brady ("Matilda" in Matilda The Musical), Ava Ulloa ("Matilda" in Matilda The Musical), Mavis Simpson-Ernst (Evita), and Emma Howard (Matilda The Musical, Violet). Additional Broadway stars cast in the concert to be announced soon.

The Kennedy Center presents a one night only performance with Tony Award winner Faith Prince on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Theater. The evening is part of Barbara Cook's Spotlight, which features theater cabaret performances throughout the 2014-2015 season by Broadway artists chosen by Barbara Cook. Faith Prince's performance Have a Little Faith will feature piano accompaniment by music director Alex Rybeck.

While I'm always excited for 9:00 PM on Wednesdays to roll around, tonight was particularly exciting for this self-proclaimed Broadway fanatic- and unless you've been loving under a rock these past few weeks, it's not hard to guess why. Broadway royalty, otherwise known as Tony winner Ms. Laura Benanti (who is also a fan of the show, I may add), officially made her long-awaited appearance on NASHVILLE (alongside Broadway veteran and seasoned cast member Will Chase), which begs the question, “Is there anything she can't do?” Apparently not.
