The Rides, the new blues-rock supergroup featuring legendary songwriter Stephen Stills, guitar slinger Kenny Wayne Shepherd and venerable Electric Flag keyboardist Barry Goldberg, are celebrating their stellar first week chart debut @ #42 of their album 'CAN'T GET ENOUGH' on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. The album is also dominating several blues charts with a #2 debuts on Billboard and Amazon's blues charts and #1 at iTunes. They have built an amazing buzz with phenomenal radio support, rave reviews, exclusive premieres and national touring. Says American Songwriter Magazine: 'The unbridled energy that shoots out of this live in-studio recordingis obvious from the opening swampy riff.'
The band displays an amazing chemistry on their first album with a second already in the planning stages. Comedy Central Announces Nationwide Search for Next Stand-Up Comedian

Comedy Central is on a nationwide search for the next great stand-up comedian. “UP NEXT” starts at 26 participating CC: Certified Clubs around the country with over 200 stand up-comedians showcasing their best material -- all part of a three-round talent showcase. Selected comedians representing each club will advance to one of four regional semi-finals between October 9-23, with eight comedians earning slots on the New York Comedy Festival's “Comics to Watch” annual show on Wednesday, November 6. Both the regionals and 'Comics to Watch' final round will be hosted by Jonah Ray (The Half Hour, Mash Up). Highlights from the finals will be posted on cc.com, and based on online voting a 'Comics to Watch: Fan's Pick' will be awarded $2500, a Comedy Central Records digital release, an appearance on a future Comedy Central series, and more.

The hilarious Gary Gulman will take to the stage at Comix At Foxwoods for four performances from Thursday, Oct. 3 to Saturday, Oct. 5. Gulman will keep audiences laughing at 8 p.m. each night throughout the weekend, before ending things on a high note with a 10:30 p.m. performance on Oct. 5.

The Rides is a new all-star blues-rock trio formed by legendary singer-songwriter and Buffalo Springfield/CSN/CSN&Y principal Stephen Stills, fellow guitar slinger Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and venerable Electric Flag keyboardist Barry Goldberg. The group will tour throughout September in support of its debut album, Can't Get Enough, set for release August 27 on 429 Records. The series of dates kicks off with the band filming a concert for television from New York City's iconic Iridium Jazz Club on August 28 and 29, and wraps on September 27 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, NV. Highlights also include shows at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston (9/7), Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, NY (9/8), Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee, WI (9/13), ACL Live at the Moody Theatre in Austin, TX (9/21), and The Fillmore in San Francisco (9/25).
