CoHo Productions Presents Steve Patterson's IMMATERIAL MATTERS, 1/23-24

The winning play, Immaterial Matters by Steve Patterson, will be presented in a series of two staged readings at the CoHo Theatre on Sunday, January 23 and Monday, January 24, 2011 at 7:30p.m. during the Fertile Ground Festival of new works. Brenda Hubbard will direct.

La MaMa Experimental Theater Club is proud to announce the January 26th opening of CAMP WANATACHI, a hilariously provocative new electro-musical that explores two girls' journey of sexual discovery within the unlikely setting of an all-female Christian summer camp. Spirit-soaked and hormone-charged, this thrilling piece of theater challenges our preconceptions about the relationship between sex and religion, and in doing so imparts to us an essential truth: 'There is no fear in love.'

Grand Theatre Celebrates Tennessee Williams Beginning 1/19

Tennessee Williams best known for his dramatic works including A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and The Glass Menagerie was born 100 years ago this March. This celebrated American playwright received many of the top theatrical awards including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Tony award for best play, and Presidential Medal of Honor.

HUSH THE MUSICAL REVIEW Plays Midwinter Madness Festival, 2/21-2/26

Hush the Musical Review, a production of the Frizzi & Lazzi Musical Theatre Company, will take part in the Midwinter Madness Festival, presented by John Chatterton. It will play three performances next month at the Payan Theatre in the Times Square Arts Center.
