The Theatre @ Boston Court presents Bars and Measures, A National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere written by Idris Goodwin and directed by Weyni Mengesha. Bars and Measures is presented on the Main Stage at Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, CA. Previews begin September 15. Opening night is September 24and performances are scheduled to run through October 23, 2016.

The Theatre @ Boston Court announces its 2016 Main Stage Season. The season begins February 20, 2016 with the World Premiere of Colony Collapse by Stefanie Zadravek, directed by Jessica Kubzansky. The spring production is the Southern California Premiere of The Golden Dragon by Roland Schimmelpfennig, translated by David Tushingham, directed by Michael Michetti. The Main Stage season closes in the fall with a National New Play Network rolling world premiere of Bars and Measures, by Idris Goodwin, directed by Weyni Mengesha. All Main Stage productions will appear at Boston Court Performing Arts Center, 70 North Mentor Avenue.

Nightwood Theatre's New Groundswell Festival to Return 9/8-14

Nightwood Theatre launches its 2014/15 season with the return of our popular festival of new works, the New Groundswell Festival, in The Historic Distillery District from September 8 to 14, 2014. Tarragon Theatre, under the artistic direction of Richard Rose, presents the Toronto premiere of Lungs by the award-winning British playwright Duncan Macmillan. Directed by Weyni Mengesha, whose production of The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs for Tarragon won her a 2012 Toronto Critics Award for Best Director, this much-acclaimed drama opens Tuesday, March 4 and runs to March 30 (with previews from February 25) in Tarragon's Extraspace. Theatre @ York presents a new imagining of Theatre Rusticle's critically-acclaimed The Stronger Variations, inspired by Swedish playwright August Strindberg's 1889 playette, The Stronger. Theatre Rusticle's artistic director Allyson McMackon directs the production, running November 10 to 16 in the Joseph G. Green Studio Theatre at York University.
