Marc Agger and William Brown present Bikeman: The 9/11 Theatrical Experience, a new play by Thomas F. Flynn based on his acclaimed book. Performances begin January 26. Opening night is February 18. It was announced today that, following acclaimed, sold-out runs at Long Wharf Theatre and Shakespeare and Company, Terry Teachout's play Satchmo at the Waldorf, will enjoy a New York premiere this spring. Starring John Douglas Thompson and directed by Gordon Edelstein, Satchmo at the Waldorf will begin performances as Off Broadway's Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) on Saturday, February 15. Opening night is set for Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

Geva Theatre Center's 2014 Fielding Studio Series kicks off with Black Pearl Sings! by Frank Higgins. This production comes to Geva from The Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca and is directed by Sara Lampert Hoover. The production begins performances on January 23 and runs in the Fielding Nextstage through February 9.

The Off Broadway Alliance will again sponsor 20at20, the bi-annual celebration of Off Broadway. The popular promotion, which begins January 21st and continues through February 9th, makes $20 tickets available for 48 Off Broadway plays and musicals twenty minutes prior to curtain. Now in its 8th year, 20at20 has become one of New York's most eagerly-anticipated promotions for budget-conscious theatre-goers.
