American Theater Company (ATC) opens the regional premiere of Jaclyn Backhaus' Men on Boats tonight, Monday, January 9. Men on Boats is the first production helmed by newly appointed ATC Artistic Director Will Davis, who also staged the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run last year. American Theater Company (ATC) presents the regional premiere of Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus, tonight, Jan. 6, through Feb. 12, 2017, immediately following the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run directed by ATC Artistic Director Will Davis at Playwrights Horizons. Davis also helms the ATC production, with an all-new Chicago cast.

They first performed together onstage as students at Tufts University in December 1991.  On January 12, 2017, Guster will return to Boston to celebrate its 25th anniversary with four consecutive shows at the Paradise Rock Club from January 12-15. 

The Falmouth Chorale, led by Artistic Director John Yankee, presents Mozart 260, a concert featuring a quartet of soloists and chamber orchestra today, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, 4 pm at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford Street, Falmouth.

Iconic vocalists and Art of Time's world-class orchestra collaborate to perform Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the Leighton Concert Hall on Sunday, October 9 at 3:00 p.m.

James Leg (aka John Wesley Myers of the Black Diamond Heavies, The Immortal Lee County Killers) is set to release his third solo album, Blood On The Keys, this fall. Back in his days with the Heavies, Leg laid the foundation for his solo work with his down-n-dirty keys, fervent live performances and trademark gruff black snake moan.

 Tonight is Opening Night for Twelve Angry Men at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Two-time Emmy winning Broadway and Television star John Wesley Shipp,currently on the CW's The Flash, plays the iconic role of Juror #8. Twelve Angry Men opens tonight at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, September 25 at Owens Auditorium on the campus of Sandhills Community College, located at 3395 Airport Road in Pinehurst.

Today, the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) announced new events for their 2016-2017 Arts & Ideas series, featuring dynamic conversations with thought-provoking leaders, acclaimed authors and entertainers, as well as performances from locally and internationally recognized artists. The lineup will continue to expand as new events are announced throughout the series.

The play's historical characters are all men but they're scripted to be played by women.

An all-woman cast plays out the story of John Wesley Powell's expedition to the Grand Canyon.
