The Hypocrites will launch their 2014-15 Season with the world premiere of ALL OUR TRAGIC, an unparalleled twelve-hour theatrical adaptation that combines all 32 surviving Greek tragedies into a single epic narrative, adapted and directed by Founding Artistic Director Sean Graney*, playing August 2 - October 5, 2014 at its new home, The Den Theatre, 1329 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. ALL OUR TRAGIC marks the inaugural production at The Den's new, fully adaptable, street level theatre where the The Hypocrites will be the resident company. Single tickets for ALL OUR TRAGIC go on sale Tuesday, June 17, 2014, with a variety of flexible season subscription packages available now. The Inconvenience has announced that it will produce the Mid-West Premiere of Love Tapes by Penn Jillette and Steven Banks. Slated to open June 6th, 2014, and directed by Shade Murray, Love Tapes will co-star Inconvenience company members Chris Chmelik and Mary Williamson. Love Tapes will be produced in partnership with The Foxhole Chicago by special permit at their new space in Lincoln Square..
The recount of the Stonewall Riots, 'Hit the Wall,' originally produced by The Inconvenience, will return to Chicago with the majority of its original ensemble cast and artistic team in a triumphant remount presented by the Chicago Commercial Collective, running April 22 to June 29 at the Greenhouse Theater, 2257 N.
