Through the program's post-performance series, Soho Rep willoffera number of events - artist dialogues, presentations, etc - during the world premiere of Lucas Hnath's play A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, directed by Sarah Benson (April 30 - May 26).

Soho Rep has announced that the celebrated stage and screen actor Larry Pine will star in the world premiere production of Lucas Hnath's adrenaline-charged odyssey A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney. Directed by Soho Rep Artistic Director Sarah Benson, Pine will play the title character - the man who forever changed the American Dream. Hnath's fictional play centers around the reading of a screenplay Walt Disney has written about his last days on earth. The script is about a city he is going to build that is going to change the world; about his brother; about everyone who loves Disney and how sad they are going to be when he is gone.

CYNTHIA-REEVES has announced an exhibition of work by noted American sculptor, Charles Ginnever, at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art through February 16, 2013. Viewed as one of Contemporary Art's most prolific and ardent sculptors in the realm of minimalist abstraction, Ginnever's exhibition features one of his signal works, Rashomon, (1993-1995) in patinated bronze.

CYNTHIA-REEVES announces the permanent installation of Jonathan Prince's VESTIGIAL BLOCK at the new Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. The monumentally sized sculpture is one of three currently on display as part of the museum's Sculpture Garden, surrounding the Zaha Hadid designed museum in East Lansing.

La MaMa E.T.C. presents the World Premiere of Triple Shadow's new theater production, 2 FROM THE SEA, composed of two solo adaptations of plays whose themes are based on stories of the sea: Holiday Memory by Dylan Thomas, performed by Seamus Maynard, and Riders to the Sea by John Millington Synge, performed by Mari Andrejco. Both are directed by Beth Skinner and feature live music composed and performed by Edward Herbst. Lighting design is by Bessie and Drama Desk-winner Paul Clay (RENT), and scenic design is by Obie Award-winner Jun Maeda. The three-week season runs tonight, October 18 through November 4 at La MaMa E.T.C., 74 East 4th Street, NYC.
