Pittsburgh CLO Presents Kopit & Yeston's PHANTOM, Now thru 6/30

Vince Pesce Named Director of Education at STAGES ST. LOUIS

STAGES ST. LOUIS is thrilled to announce new staff appointments to STAGES' Turley Performing Arts Academy. Broadway Veteran, Vince Pesce will assume the position of Director of Education at STAGES Kent Center for Theatre Arts, the new state-of-the-art facility, effective immediately. Pesce replaces longtime Education Director Rob Grumich, who will remain during the transition through July. Also, Tali Allen Liddell will become the Manager of Community Programs and Partnerships.

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads vocalist Ashley Brown in a performance of beloved Broadway hits on Thursday, February 21 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore and Friday, February 22 at 8 p.m., Saturday, February 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 24 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Ms. Brown, known as Broadway's original Mary Poppins, will perform popular Broadway selections including "Make Someone Happy," "A Spoon Full of Sugar," "Le Jazz Hot," "Defying Gravity" from Wicked and more. Also on the program is a medley of popular Disney tunes, including "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" from Cinderella, "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, "Someday My Prince Will Come" from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty. LA's Next Great Stage Star 2013 Announces Star Judge Lineup thru 2/10

With the recent success of competition programs such as American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and, of course, Dancing With The Stars, competitions such as the now successful Stage LA's Next Great Star have caught the attention of many a young hopeful. Although the first of the 6 week competition has passed, the competition has five more weeks of competitive talent lined up. The producers have just announced the complete line up of celebrated judges for the reamaining dates of Jan 13, 20, 27 and Feb 3 adn 10 (below).

Directed by Thom Southerland and produced by Danielle Tarento, it will run for an 8-week season in The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, now through Saturday, December 15. National Tour of ANYTHING GOES to Prep in Cleveland

ANYTHING GOES, which received the 2011 Tony Award for a winning revival, will start its national tour on October 2 after a four-week rehearsal period in Cleveland. The Cole Porter 1934 musical will be staged by director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall.
