Playwrights Horizons presents Rancho Viejo, the world premiere of a new play by Dan LeFranc (The Big Meal at Playwrights, Sixty Miles to Silver Lake, In the Labyrinth) and directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Placebo, This at Playwrights; Fool For Love; Bad Jews; 4000 Miles; [sic]). The production opened on December 6 at the company's Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street) and will play through Friday, December 23. Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have just announced that Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Gorgeous Entertainment, will produce the Broadway premiere of Prince of Broadway, a musical celebration that highlights the extraordinary six-decade career of director and producer Harold Prince. Prince of Broadway will start previews Thursday, August 3, 2017 for a Thursday, August 24, 2017 opening night at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed world premiere of Heisenberg, the new play by Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, starring Denis Arndt and Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker, begins the final week of its sold-out, critically heralded run tonight at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The limited engagement will play its final performance at the Friedman on Sunday, December 11.

As previously announced, Tony-Award-nominated actress, Emily Skinner, will head up an all star cast for a newly conceptualized production of Into The Woods at Theatre Under The Stars this holiday season. The production, which is being directed and choreographed by Tony Award Nominee Robert Longbottom, will run in Houston from December 6 - 18, 2016 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. TUTS has just announced complete casting for the production.

Valentina Kozlova Announces NUTCRACKER WINTER SUITE

Valentina Kozlova's next project is her annual 'Nutcracker Winter Suite,' December 3, 7 PM, at Symphony Space, Broadway and 95th Street, NYC. Joining the students at Kozlova's Dance Conservatory, located in midtown Manhattan, are Kozlova students Nikita Boris and Justin Valentine. The exceptional teen dancers, participating in Kozlova's Competition last June, were awarded scholarships to the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, selected by Academy director Nikolai Tsiskaridze. Justin will return to St. Petersburg after the performances to continue his one-year scholarship. Nikita, now 16 years old, completed her scholarship and entered the October Vaganova Prix, where she received a special award for artistry and was further honored with an invitation to perform a solo from Giselle on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.
