Volunteers Needed at Bay Street Theater; Special Meeting 5/11

Bay Street Theater is in need of volunteer ushers for the Mainstage Season, Concerts, The Comedy Club, Music Mondays, Play Readings, and special events. A meeting for those interested in volunteering will be held on May 11 at 6 pm in the Bay Street Theater lobby.

Can Can's Chris Pink Named Mayor of Pike Place Market

With great excitement, Can Can Kitchen and Cabaret today announced that its artistic director and founder Chris Pink has been named the new Mayor of Pike Place Market. A tradition decades old, Mr. Pink is the third Mayor in the succession and was selected by leaders within the Pike Place Market vendor family, including the very first Mayor, for his keen eye for fun and spectacle, and ability to accent the true wonders that make up the world-famous destination.

Cirque-Tacular's SPRING-A-DING DING! to Swing Into the 14th Street Y Theater

Long Beach Opera Presents AS ONE, 5/13

On May 13, 20. & 21, 2017, Long Beach Opera (LBO) will present the highly anticipated Southern California premiere of As One, an inspiring story about identity, authenticity and compassion by composer Laura Kaminsky with librettists Mark Campbell and Kimberly Reed. 

Cleveland Orchestra's Choruses Announce Auditions for 2017-18 Season

The Cleveland Orchestra's Choruses announce that auditions for the 2017-18 season will take place this spring. The season will be The Cleveland Orchestra's 100th year of concerts and marks the launch of its Second Century. The Cleveland Orchestra holds a long-standing commitment to choral music in which community members of all ages may have the opportunity to participate. The Man Is Non-Stop! Tony Winner James Monroe Iglehart Sets Start Date for HAMILTON on Broadway

It has been announced that Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton in the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson starting April 14th, Broadway favorite, Brian D'Arcy James, is set to re-join the show on the same day in the role of King George, a role he created in the Public Theater production of the show.
