Discovery Fit & Health Premieres DIAGNOSIS: DEAD OR ALIVE Tonight, 6/25

Discovery Fit & Health is putting the ER in summER with two all-new fascinating medical series. DIAGNOSIS: DEAD OR ALIVE premiering tonight, June 25 at 10 PM ET/PT, takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster while exploring the medical world's deepest mysteries through the voices of the patients who lived them... or didn't.

Strand Releasing will release a new documentary called BALLPLAYER: PELOTERO about the underbelly of baseball recruiting in the Dominican Republic in theaters and on VOD on July 13th. The film is directed by Ross Finkel, Trevor Martin and Jon Paley, and narrated by John Leguizamo and executive produced by Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine. Watch the official trailer below!

Chocolate Factory Productions' ANTHONY RAPP - WITHOUT YOU Opens in Boston, 6/19

Chocolate Factory Productions present a production of Anthony Rapp -WITHOUT YOU, based on Anthony Rapp's bestseller Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent, beginning performances in Boston today, June 19th. The show, which is directed by Steve Maler, will continue at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August and London's Menier Chocolate Factory until Septemeber 15.

MAD ABOUT THE BOY Comes to Oxford, June 19-20

Iron Shoes previously announced the national tour dates for their production of Mad About the Boy. The production received its London première at the Unicorn Theatre on Saturday 12 May before embarking on a UK tour, now stopping in Oxford June 19-20, 2012.

Zarkana, the surreal acrobatic spectacle by Cirque du Soleil, has returned to New York at the legendary Radio City Music Hall for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 2 only. Performances began June 6. This week, BroadwayWorld was invited to Radio City for an exclusive backstage tour with the cast and creative team. In our journey, we ventured through the underbelly of the orchestra pit, into arial training central, the depths of the wardobe closet, ladies dressing area and back, catching along the way sand painter extraordinaire Erica Chan, juggling sensation Maria Choodu, wardrobe wizard Randy Handley - keeper of over 1300 Zarkana costumes! - and 'mad swan' Dany Rabello for a complete pre-show experience.

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE Cancels Summer Extension; London Run in the Works

The acclaimed Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Emily Man has cancelled its previously announced summer extension, and will now take its final Broadway bow on its original closing date- July 22. BroadwayWorld has learned that the show might be moving to London, aiming for a Fall 2012 opening.

Soho Theatre Set for Edinburgh Festival, London, Summer 2012

Soho Theatre has announced a full summer season of theatre, comedy and cabaret to be presented both at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and in London. In theatre, the group presents new work from Phil Porter, Will Eno and Joel Horwood. In Edinburgh and in London Soho presents acts from across the globe, including Barry Award Winner Doctor Brown and the joint Best Newcomer Winners from the Melbourne Comedy Festival Matt Okine and Ronny Chieng. Plus the return of the Soho Literary Festival.

Steve Bastoni to Play BARASSI at Athenaeum Theatre, Set for Sep 20; Full Cast Announced!

BARASSI is the story of iconic Australian footballer, coach, motivator and father of modern football, Ron Barassi depicted in an epic fashion, from child to elder statesman. It is a story of determination, passion and courage, of success and failure. The producers have announced the cast for this premiere production of Barassi, which will open at the Athenaeum Theatre on 20 September. The cast features Steve Bastoni, Chris Asimos, Matt Parkinson, Jane Clifton, Richard Sutherland, Glenn Maynard, Amanda LaBonte, Bartholomew Walsh and footballer Russell Robertson.

Amphibian Announces Chuck Huber, Sarah Koestner and Carman Lacivita to Lead THE UNDERSTUDY

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its summer main stage production, The Understudy, written by famed playwright and creator of the hit television show "Smash" Theresa Rebeck. Chuck Huber, Sarah Koestner, and Carman Lacivita star in this outrageous comedy running July 19 through August 5 at The Hardy and Betty Sanders Theatre at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
