Enrollment Now Open for Trinity Rep's Lifelong Learning Classes

Trinity Repertory Company announces open enrollment for lifelong learning classes. The program is currently accepting registration, and fall classes begin as early as August 29. Committed to the belief in theater for every generation, the education department offers a wide array of performance classes for adults taught by the resident acting company and artistic staff. For those too shy to be on stage, the department offers a playwriting class and discussion series illuminating the artistic process. Trinity Repertory Company, recently named The State Theatre of Rhode Island, opens its doors today, August, 17 for Trinity Rep's 50th Anniversary Block Party & Open House. The company invites the community to celebrate this milestone with them at the theater at 201 Washington St., with a wide range of family-friendly activities planned from noon until 8:00 p.m. Highlights of the day include performances and appearances from some of the best and brightest professional, community, and children's theater groups from across the state, tours, workshops, tech demos, a prop & costume sale, live music, and more. The theater's box office will be offering special pre-sale 10% discount on OLIVER!, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE and many other shows in their 50th Season - in addition to a one day only ticket deals.

Trinity Repertory Company previously announced their Under35@TRC Zombie Prom Night, the first in a series of Under35@TRC nights brought to you by The Onion. Tonight's April 4 event will begin at 6:30pm in the upstairs lobby with a pre-show party featuring complimentary cocktails from Sons of Liberty Spirits Company, catering by The Bradford, and a zombie prom photo booth. After the show, guests are invited to walk up street to Blake's Tavern for an Onion after-party with $2 Narragansett.
