I never questioned whether or not Tyce Green could sing. Rather, the question was, 'Can he carry a live show without an ensemble?' The answer is yes. At this point in his career, Green has a style of his own. Loose and earnest with a hint of humor. And he's a damn good interpreter. Even when I was concerned that his rock-tinged voice wouldn't fit the pre-existing style of a stong song, his spin would blow me away.

Just last night, Broadway's biggest voices took to the 54 Below stage to sing the iconic rock hits of Grammy-award winning composer Jim Steinman. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012, Steinman has sold more than 190 million records as the composer and lyricist behind such hit songs as 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now,' 'I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That),' 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light, ' and 'Holding Out For A Hero.' In 1983, he became the only artist in music history to have written and produced the simultaneous #1 and #2 song on the Billboard charts when 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' and 'Making Love Out Of Nothing At All' held the top two spots on the Hot 100 for three weeks.

This May and June, 54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street.

On Tuesday, May 5th, Broadway's biggest voices will take to the 54 Below stage to sing the iconic rock hits of Grammy-award winning composer Jim Steinman.

Legendary Grammy Award-winning songwriter and performer, internationally recognized theatrical rock pioneer Jim Steinman, will be celebrated in a new 54 Below show honoring his multiple #1 songs and albums at 54 Below next month, titled TOTAL ECLIPSE: THE MUSIC OF JIM STEINMAN, with the starry cast of the evening announced earlier this month, and famed Meat Loaf tour star and Steinman interpreter Karla DeVito joins the epic line-up this week.

A high school in Aurora, Colorado is reportedly attempting to censor performances of LGBTQ-related material as part of an upcoming planned actor's showcase later this month according to a series of new social media posts and a recent local news report and both the student's comments and an exclusive letter from the principal have exclusively been obtained by BroadwayWorld today.

Letters are flying, and this cast sure has a way with words! TUTS Underground, in association with Third Coast Creative, presents LMNOP - A New Muzical, through April 19 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center. Chaos arises when letters begin to fall from a town monument and government officials ban them one by one. The community depends on the strength of a determined teenage girl to fight for their freedom of speech. This unique musical is part romance, part clever word game and part adult fable that reminds us of how precious our liberties are and how important it is to have the courage to stand up for what we believe. Tyce Green and Holland Vavra are town for the show and their ADHD gets the best of them backstage.
