An up and coming actor in the Seattle area, 27-year old Trick Danneker (Patrick Francis Danneker) not only knows a lot about theater and conveying a character on stage but is also your average American guy who loves baseball, movies and Coca-Cola. I was lucky enough to sit down with Trick and talk with him about his life, his career and his current role in The Seattle Rep's 'Speech and Debate.'

The Seattle Repertory Theatre is presenting "Speech and Debate", the new play from Stephen Karam. And let me just say that the Rep has not only once again produced a solid hit but continues to produce shows that are entertaining, accessible and memorable across all ages and walks of life.

William Shakespeare's As You Like It begins its run at Harlequin Productions on October 1st and runs through the 24th.
Treachery, jealousy, banishment, escape and multiple disguises all lead to a hilarious romantic romp in the forest of Arden. The daughter of a banished duke, Rosalind, flees the court with her cousin Celia. Once in the wild wood, she takes on the guise of a boy in order to advise her heart's desire, Orlando, and 'cure' him of the madness and foolery of Love. Good luck!

Seattle's 14/48 Theater Festival is still going strong and still wreaking havoc and mayhem-this time inside ACT's stunning and historic Bullitt Cabaret space. 14/48 - The World's Quickest Theater Festival will run January 9-10 and January 16-17 with two shows a night at 8:00 and 10:30 pm.
