Performances began on Tuesday, November 24th, for the first Broadway revival of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC starring Academy Award-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones, five-time Tony Award®-winner Angela Lansbury and Olivier Award-nominee Alexander Hanson. Jest End, a musical comedy insight into the weird and wonderful world of the West End, returns home to Jermyn Street Theatre, the central London venue where it was born, bringing audiences a brand new and up to date dose of musical theatre parody for a limited five-week engagement from Tuesday 17 November to Sunday 20 December 2009.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) has announced that the culmination of the union's 50th anniversary year is a gala celebration on Sunday, November 8 at the Tribeca Rooftop.

Stage and screen star Helen Mirren has joined the cast of the upcoming thriller 'Red', Variety reports. Already announced for the cast are Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis. Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Gregory Noveck, and Mark Vahradian, 'Red' is written by Erich and Joe Hoeber and directed by Robert Schwentke. Shooting is set to begin January 2010 with an expected release date of November 19th, 2010.
